Taking Prosthetic Legs to Honduras - Please share with all of your friends In April 2014 Phillip Johnson and I went to Honduras with my medical school to begin helping patients who have amputations. Due to costs, these people have no ability to afford these devices and are usually left jobless and often hopeless to walk again. We have developed a new low cost prosthetic leg that people in any country will be able to afford and the first patients will receive them this October for testing. Through a divine crossing with Donnie Anderson in Campamento we also met a beautiful woman named Mari Luz who was born with bilateral club feet. When we met her she was unable to walk but since April she took a leap of faith and had her leg amputated and we will be taking her new leg in 4 weeks! We are praying we can make it down there and give away 6 prosthetic legs and one prosthetic arm on this trip. But the beautiful part is this is just the beginning to help thousands. We have had over $20,000 in prosthetic legs donated to us for patients. Also The P Buckley Moss Foundation donated one of her paintings to us to raise funds - so we are having a raffle to raise money for the trip. For Phil, Kim Wade, and myself to go and take all of our equipment it will take around $4,000. We are selling raffle tickets for $5 and taking donations for the prosthetic mission trip. We have to have everything together in the next 2 weeks and we are praying for provision. We are asking friends to pray for the trip and if you would like to help us love these people financially please send me a message or email to [email protected]. Thank you for helping us love others.
