Weather Situation An area of low pressure to the east to Tasmania will move away to the southeast during Thursday as a high slowly crosses the Bight and a trough approaches the southwest of the state. The trough will cross Tasmania Friday morning while the high will remain slow moving to the northwest of the state, maintaining a west to southwesterly stream. The high will still be to the northwest of Tasmania on Saturday while a cold front will move over the far south later in the day and weaken.
