Testimony for Christ (:...people try to say these are coincidences...there are no such things as coincidences. So I was on the schedule at work TWO days this week. I was down to my 20 I keep in my apron for change. Yesterday we went to church..I thought about it and I grabbed 10 of that 20. Went to church, gave my offering and my oldest gave me grief."I cant believe you gave up HALF our money" blah blah blah..I said to her, GOD is the reason I even HAD that money kid, so chill out. (Applebees was His idea). HE will provide I said. Not long after church, I got a text from a guy named Brady on a phone # I didnt recognize..saying "anyone want my 4 today"? I dismissed it..no clue what the heck that meant. I was watching Charmed, laying on the couch with Courtney and it comes to me....THATS A GUY AT WORK! Two hours or so have gone by..everyone at work has been trying to pick up shifts. I texted him.."has anyone taken that shift"?!? No he said and he tells me he had made a promise to join his parents for a church event and got scheduled. I think God managed a two birds..one stone thing here..such a smart guy that God of mine (: So I took his shift, it was a 4-Volume..which means 4-dinner rush and then gone by 8. I get there..Megan needs someone to stay for the long volume (4-10). I am very open at work about my Lord and Savior..prolly why He picked me huh? I am PROUD not ashamed to speak of Him. But anyway I said, "Well I prayed for it and He is obviously delivering..be kinda stupid not to take it". lol So I worked, it was a great shift and I made more money on that shift than I have ANY other day, INCLUDING the day I worked a double. Gods day. I gave Him and my church HALF of what I had...and when He was done..I had only given Him my 10% tithe. Just chokes me up to see Him work in my life. Small things to HUGE..there He is. Proving He exists. Makes me cry tears of joy. This quote was used on The Polar Express and probably other times, but its in my head right now. Seeing isnt believing; Believing is seeing. That could not be more true. Good morning everyone. I hope my story touched you and hopefully brought to light something God may have done for you that you thought was a coincidence. Give Him credit..because the credit is definitely DUE. (:
