Text: Matt. 20:20-28 Topic: The servant of all – dominion through service. The world is upside down but we are different; we cannot afford to behave like the world because it is contrary to our DNA. We are carefully chosen and a royal priesthood (1 Pet. 2:9). 1 Tim3:1 clearly states that there is nothing wrong in desiring a top position or being significant, but, we cannot cheat, backstab or lobby to get to the top. Manage your desire to be significant. Matt. 20:24- The problem of lobbying to be significant is great indignation, it brings trouble. Matt. 20:25, 28 – The secret to being significant is service. Serve God because you were saved to serve. You climb when you serve. Serve in your local church and serve others sincerely. How do you serve others? By praying and interceding for them (1 Tim 2:11). Take a stand today to pray for the salvation of the souls of your loved ones and friends. Serve through prayers and intercession; that is a great way to be a servant of all. Have a great, intercession-filled week and keep fasting. We are in this together and God is attentive to your prayers. Amen
