Today is a very sad day because I must admit that for the first time, I am ashamed of my University. I was okay when Coach Rod was hung out to dry for a month after the Ohio State game, as I was confident that you had a plan. I was okay when Coach Rod was fired, as I was confident you had a plan. I was okay when Jim Harbaugh turned us down, as I was confident that you had a plan. But now, after Les Miles had publicly made it known that he wanted to come home, we have learned that he is staying at LSU. I fear that he never was a real candidate and that your plan all along was to hire Brady Hoke. That is simply unacceptable. Inbreeding kills a species, and that is what will happen if Brady Hoke is hired. As a business man, you know that perception is everything. Well the perception of Michigan football could not be worse right now, and trust me, hiring a guy whos most significant qualification for the job is that he is loved by Lloyd Carr, will do nothing to improve that.
