Thank God the Grand Old Party is finally doing something about people who receive food stamps. I am so tired of standing in line behind someone who buys soda or candy or cake with food stamp card. The Republicans propose a five percent decrease in food stamps which would save about four billion dollars. I am a disabled person who receives approximately 74 dollars a month in food assistance. Halfway through the month I have to rely upon food banks and soup kitchens. It is a shameful thing for a 50 year old man. Republicans take a little more away from those of us with the greatest needs. God forbid that the upper 1 percent should have to pay taxes on the yachts.
