Thank you Ginger for sharing this, I too appreciate Wabs final comments - are we going to look back on the governments apology to Residential Schools survivors as coming from good faith, or as having been more of a reaction to the long, hard battle made by survivors fighting for justice? I would have to agree, it is the latter. Our gratitude should not be to the government for apologizing, it should be to those brave survivors for having got us to that point. Also, some really good answers to a question I also get from a lot of my friends, what can I do to help change? Change being, addressing the issues indigenous ppl in Canada are currently faced with, and changing the relationship btwn indigenous ppl and Canadians as a whole. To all my friends who struggle with that question, please watch this! Yall know who you are, dont make me tag you! :P
