Thank you all for all the well wishes and prayers. We received a call from the Dr. with some good news. They biopsied 12 lymph nodes that came out with the tumor and they found nothing that seemed to have spread to those. There was one area that came back that he was going to have them recheck, something to the effect that it may have been a little invasive. The Dr. wanted to have the radiologist interpret the report to him first hand. As of now he thinks they got everything and at this point Kipp should not have to have chemo or radiation. He is doing much better with the recovery portion of his surgery. It was a very aggressive surgery to make sure the got it all and hopefully it wont come back. He received an Abdominoperineal Resection.
