Thank you all for your prayers and good wishes. After a couple days in the hospital and a couple days home, I am feeling much better. This stupid pancreas decides to flair up, it does it good! My Lipase levels were elevated when I went into the hospital but dropped the next day. The doctor did an ERCP, a procedure where he goes in and looks at the pancreas and the ducts, and he found nothing out of the ordinary. Typical of Chronic Pancreatitis. After being deprived of food or water for a couple days, the flair settled and I was released home. Still, after eating, the pain returned, but not nearly as severe. So, I have limited my intake to fluids and finally, this evening, I am feeling much better. One good thing came of this! Joyce found out she can drive now. Her broken knee being her right knee has stopped her from driving. We had been discussing her trying to drive, and while I was in the hospital, she drove the short distance to come see me. Since then, she went and picked up a friend and went out for a treat at Sonic!!!! Freedom! Thanks again everyone!
