Thank you all who sent messages wishing us a safe journey home. Thankfully, I am happy to say we had a safe journey up to Eilat with Arkia then a very good El Al flight back to London. We sat on the tarmac at Ben Gurion waiting for clearance of missiles for about 40 minutes then got the ok it was safe to take off. We took off to the north which is a different flight path than usual. The first few minutes on take off no-one uttered a word as we knew there were threats on the airport but thankfully all was well---thank you to the pilots and crew for bringing us home safely. El Al pilots are the best and highly trained for these situations and we felt safe flying with the national company. Ten out of ten to El Al. I only wish this war ends quickly without casualties to our people and so that everyone can return to some normality. Safe journey to our dear friends travelling back to England tomorrow.
