Thank you everyone!! Hass went to his new vet who is part of HRS and HRC for MA and CT. He said Hass is a little chubby and has growths on his teeth from not getting enough fiber. I am a terrible rabbit owner (I was naive when Hass and I were younger and now we both dont like our living conditions) and I have been to giving with the pellets. No more! Hass now has a suggested mix of meadow, orchard, botanical (well this is wasnt mentioned but it seemed good) and Timothy so he now has to search for his favorites and hopefully this new variety will encourage his hay eating versus a one type of hay which he seemed to become bored with it. He still gets his greens and occasional fruits but we are going to turn our weight and teeth around! Other than that slight chunky bit and his slight growth (vet said it wasnt bad for his age!) we are healthy. Joints are good and ears are good. :) he just needs to move and eat better. Dont we all? Haha well I do! On the moving subject: where is a good place for bunny enrichment toys? I am getting him a sand box to dig in (not sure what Ill put in it to let him dig in). But what other things do you suggest? Or a sight with great toys and treats and supplies??
