Thank you to everyone who attended the meeting last night and thank you to Alan Degg from Hilton Main for coming along. For those that couldnt make it here is a brief summary. Hilton Main have been granted permission to buy the land at the back of Chepstow Way (even numbers) and have now got to submit plans for permission to create parking bays, some for the workers to ease access to bad from the estate and the remainder for residents/visitors use to ease parking on the estate. A consultation will take plans once plans have been submitted. The plans will also include a fence to help with the noise. Other Issues There was a number of residents concerned with speed of vehicles on the estate. We have tried in the past to get speed restrictions on the estate but due to the design layout of the estate this is not possible however we are still trying to get a speed limit and will continue in our efforts. In the meantime we offer the following advice, make sure your speed is checked and remember a child or animal can run from alleyways, and let us educate the children of the danger of running straight into the road from the alleyways. Next Meeting will be 30th September @ 7pm.
