Thankful today for many things. First and foremost, I am thankful for my family, especially my wife and 2 beautiful girls. They make everything worthwhile. Of course, my two 4-legged girls, also. I am thankful for my parents and my sister and niece and nephews, as well as my awesome brother-in-law. He could not be a better dad to all of his kids - even those that are his steps. I am so thankful and glad that my grandmother is still doing well, and absolutely LOVES the assisted living facility where she lives. This is HUGE as so many elderly people are miserable. She truly enjoys the place and the people. Though I may complain about it, I am happy to have a really good job (and a GREAT boss who is not on Facebook) that allows me to provide for my family. This year, I have added a couple of super guys to my department that are making everything so much better. With the radical increase in business we have seen, I could never do it all myself. I am also SUPER thankful that today is one of the 3 days or so a year that our plant is closed, so the possibility of me (or anyone) getting called is practically zero. Finally, I am thankful to be in such an awesome band with such stellar musicians. These guys have really showed me what it means to collaborate musically. I learn from all of them each and every time we play together. Plus, they are the most fun group of guys to hang with before and after the shows. Music is something I have to do. Period. And I am enjoying it now like never before. These are just a few things that come immediately to mind. There are countless others, but, aint nobody got time to read all that. Thanks, everyone!
