Thanks Kitty Cahalan for sharing. My son and I have been having very deep conversations about this given his best friend is African-American. He has woken up in the middle of the night concerned. Nothing gets past these 10 year olds. I hate that I cannot really know or even begin to understand, but for my sons friend and so many others I hope any actions toward caring, sharing and considering humanity at the level that all binds us we will make a difference.
