Thanks Peggy...I am really questioning my mothering skills and abilities this year. I miss interacting in both the daily life and special "once in a life-time" opportunities with my girls. I do not think anyone understands the impact this injury has had on my entire family. Bill is amazing with all he does for the girls and I, but I know he is exhausted trying to help me and balance his responsibilities. Working, cooking, helping me clean the house, driving the girls to all their sports, activities, and events and me to all of my unending appointments...he simply does not have time to breath or relax let alone do yard work. (I am scared to think about the schedule, homework, etc. once school resumes in a short 25 days)! I pray that through all these therapies and doctors that the end is in sight. I have to believe there is some purpose to this and that through prayer, patience, and determination I will re-gain my cognitive functioning, thought processing, and speedy pace. I know I should be grateful that I survived the subarachnoid hemorrhage, but my biggest fear is that the girls will only remember this phase of their childhood where I have not been a "participant" in their lives. Thank you always for your kindness and friendship it means the world to us.
