Thanks everyone for taking part in last weeks 5 Fact Friday. Heres the Qs and As (with 2 bonus Qs) 1. Mark Powell : What do you do to keep your chops as a designer? Paint? Draw? Music? What keeps you sharp? I create art in different mediums,Im obsessed with music,love dancing,meditate and play a little guitar and keyboard. 2. Gregge Highland : Are you and Mark still living in the house you had done on the show? Do you really like having the washer/dryer in the kitchen? Well to answer your question honestly. Im still in the house but Mark is no longer. We split at the end of last year and are both much happier. AND yes I do like having laundry in my kitchen. Its so handy. 3. Kerry Wargo: What is your stance on marriage equality? Does Canada embrace it or is it decided province by province? I support LOVE. Any and all kinds. Canada embraces it as a whole. 4. Mary Walther Rogers: is there a method to the madness of choosing a colour palette? do you spend more time with the homeowners then it appears to us so you can really try and read their style? You and Hillary always seem to be right on. We just read spaces and people well. 5. Paula Brusso : Desta did you have a rad bedroom growing up?????? I did. My parents allowed me experiment with my room colours,layouts et. Im grateful for it. It was my creative sanctuary that was my space to make stuff,meditate and relax. 6. Norm Mahan : Soup or salad? Salad 7. Leah Gresgott-Rice : What type of music do you like and why? I grew up in the 80s which heavily influenced my love of electro, 90s got me into R&B and because of my parents I also love disco and funk but really anything with a good beat will get me going.
