Thanks for people dropping by and picking up some of the items that came out of the freezer that failed yesterday. I am going to purchase a few chest freezers to have as back up in my basement. It was actually my chest freezer that broke last summer that caused another batch of food to be spoiled (but that one was quite old). I appreciate Facebook and Twitter technology that enabled me to get the word out to people so that people could use the food as intended. At one point everything that was left in the freezer I just gave away for free (the stuff that I didnt donate to the Youth Empowerment Centre down the way). We hadnt had a chance to put the FREE sticker on the items when a woman brought up 8 or so packs of rice (Gluten Free) tortillas to purchase them. She was thinking that they were 50% off. Fortunately I was up at the front counter at that time and I let her know that that were free. She was very grateful. Nice. Thanks everyone and hopefully this does not happen again. I may not have been such a big problem if one of the other freezers wasnt down as well causing all the extra space we had to be used up.
