Thanks for the prayers and condolences. Truly at a loss for words. Death is always hard, but its harder when you grow up with someone, seeing them everyday for at least 19 years of your life. Playing outside together from the age of 1 on up. The person who taught you how to ride a bike, whom even after every one else had gone inside for the night in the summer time, yawl played outside and talked about life because your mothers were so close, they would sit on the porch and talk to the wee hours while burning a rag to keep the mosquitos away. The person who taught you how to record night tracks on the the vcr, so you wouldnt miss the newest Duran Duran or talking heads or better yet, the newest Michael Jackson video. The person who all all of the elderly people in the neighborhood assumed was your boyfriend, when truth was, yawl were just best friends. The person you went to Junior and Senior prom with. The person who always called home to check on you after they left after high school for the military, because you were pregnant and though it wasnt his kid (never slept together ONCE), he loved you enough to care. But then life started to slowly happen. And you guys start to mostly keep in touch through your moms who are still thick as thieves. And regular calls turn into some time calls, every now and again calls, then oh yeah such in such asked about you then fb. Which at least gets you back to keeping up with each other lives. And phone calls that promises lunch or dinner. That never happens. Then....... Pray for my friends family. Thank you.
