Thanks so much friends for all your prayers, thoughts, texts, calls, food and emails. Matthew did great with his surgery. There were some concerns about being able to come home tonight, but he did so well after he finally woke up that they felt it would be safe enough to send him home with me....ha! You guys know I work for MSHA, but even if I didnt, I would still feel this way...THEY WERE AWESOME! Everyone from the admitting clerk to the surgical team were caring, kind, thoughtful, professional and efficient. I am proud to be a MSHA team member! Matthew has had several surgeries on his knees and he said today was the best experience he had as far as surgeries go. Of course, you guys know Matthew, and all the ladies love him and spoil him, and there was a lot of that going on today, so he was very happy! We also want to thank Rusty Verran, our pastor at Chinquapin Grove Baptist Church, he was there with us through the entire surgery praying with us and for us. Matthews Mom and Sister Betty Folkner also kept me company and that was a huge help and I truly appreciated them being there for us. So, all is well... He isnt able to talk very well yet and is having some muscle spasms, but I gave him some meds, so I think he will be having a restful peaceful night. Thanks again friends for everything - we are truly Blessed with wonderful family and friends!
