Thanks to Wyn Morris for nominating me to post 5 meaningful songs in 5 days. Anyone who knows me will realise this is an impossible task for a music anorak and I could problably post for the next 5 years but will give it a go!( I might have to cheat a little and post more than 5). I nominate Gary Doran Richard Sully Nakita Dawn Faye Duncan (5 Jeff Lorber tracks not allowed ;) ) and Mark Williams as I know you will all have some interesting and varied choices. So this is my first.Used to love this song when I was at school and provides some great Summer memories out with mates and constantly kicking a ball around.I remember watching it on Top of The Pops but roll on a few years to the rave scene circa 1991 in Tenerife. One of the more commercial rave places Mr Ts used to end the evening with this or the Simply Red Comprehend remix of Stars. There would always be myself and Paul Andrews on the dance floor singing every single word and was played because the DJs Colin & Stevie also loved the tune.It was guaranteed to clear the floor apart from us two idiots and very drunk girls.They were frantic, wild and entertaining times.After this tune it was off to rave properly at Busbys and Bobbys and get up to no good!
