Thanks to a lovely assistant, here is a video of Smith Machine Hip Thrusts. This is a great exercise dedicated to building your glutes. Be sure to push through your heels, squeeze your glutes hard in the top position, slowly lower and repeat. I did 5 sets of 15 reps but for beginners, try 3 sets of 15. If your gym does not have a Smith Machine, you could use a BB or weight plate but be sure to hold on to the weight. I like doing these on the Smith Machine because the bar is stable and I can really focus on squeezing my glutes and not so much on balancing a barbell.
