Thanks to all of YOU! We have MET our fundraising goal at gofundme/dotxns Kaye is speechless and overcome with emotion at the outpouring of support from all of you - her recovery this time has been the longest and most difficult fight of her life - and she was surprised by it, since shes endured 2 open heart surgeries and a couple other emergency surgeries which had left her in critical condition in the ICU before this. Kaye is back home now, recuperating gradually, and still faces some hurdles - we had to negotiate an early release from Stanford Hospital & Clinics in order for her to get home this soon. We have had to carefully observe protocols dictated by the awesome team of medical professionals there, in order to manage risk most effectively and maximize her recovery rate - but she and all of us in the family are thrilled to be together again. All your donations will go to cover the portions of medical and physician bills (not covered by insurance) at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital and Stanford Hospital, as well for additional costs such as home care during her recovery.
