Thanks to my Dad..at Pearl Harbor when hit on that horrific day that December just turned 18, continued service in Asia till the end of war. Recipientof Army medal for service. My Uncle Tony the ultimate Marnie went in at 18, the Recipient of Purple Heart at Iowa Jima at the end of WWII. My Uncle Albert in Africa serving in WWI in the Army. Uncle Joe in Normandy, France..survived and continuned in Italy for the Army during WWII. My Uncle Emanuel/Buddyin the Korean war for the Army Recipient of Army medal for service. My cousins Matt and Rocco, the Marines during Vietnam War. As my parents said, I was not A THOUGHT OR CONCEIVED. as in their future. I WAS BORN SOOO much later. And very proud to have this in my heritage Oh, I hearad all the old War Stories. Great historical stories, pics, awards, I have my Dads. But, they SCARIFICED THEIR YOUTH for our country. As my grandparents said they CAME HOME with valor, courage and diginity. THEY ALL were discharged with HONORS. My late husband Kevin an Air Force Pilot during the Gulf War, graduate of Air force and VMI..Flown missions to Iraq. Now today, my BF Kevin, the ultimate Air Force Pilot, under special flying assignment. In the old days, My late Daddy said..we ae home in a free country.
