Your understanding can give some back. == The Human Statue: Notice that person standing there, Blocking your path like they do not care. What is she thinking, why stood so still? Shes trying to get to the shopping till. Unlike you she has no choice, Parkinsons has taken her voice, Her movement is blighted and so she stands, Very still, metronome in hand. The hope to remind her brain to start, To take a step forward and do its part, Yet Parkinsons now has control, And youre ignorance bares her sole. So when the Human Statue you see, Ask yourself, what if that was me? Show compassion and hold her hand, She needs to know you understand.
