That skunk stole my breakfast!!! So..on the weekends I (Chad) like to have a nice omelet for breakfast. Lately we have been getting less eggs, Ive been giving the chickens nasty looks and pep talks...and We are building a new coop area in the barn to please them (and give the goats room for their espresso lounge). So last night there was ONE egg...we have like a million chickens..and ONE egg! I left it in the nest box to inspire them. This morning I went out at the crack of not yet dawn ;-) and NO EGG!!! We recently discovered a skunk living somewhere in the barn...that jerk took my egg!! Yes skunks will take eggs and leave the chickens alone. Thats my rant..
