The 7th art complex, the cinema, is brought to you this year at WAHA Festuval (18-21 july 2013) by the Tripoteca crew and its mission is to release your soul from your body, so by the end of the credits you can arrive gently on Earth and back to the dance floor with new visual energy that will boost your synesthetic abilities to enjoy the festival’s celebration at full power. Tripoteca is the first European psychedelic film and arts festival. It took place last year in Bucharest and focused on Romanian independent film and this year the event will turn international, but until then, will have a pitstop at WAHA with the following program (from sunset to sunrise): - documentary (one film per day) - open cinema* (one film per day) - Romanian psychedelic cinema (Tripoteca 2012 playlist) - surrealism, experimental and mind bending cinema - animation *You can submit films for the open cinema at [email protected] and if your proposals are trippy enough gems (that are hidden, not mainstream), they will be screened and you will receive a small bag of gold.
