The Air New Zealand Aviation Institute (ANZAI) is pleased to announce its successful transition from a Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) CAR 30 training organisation to a Part 147 Maintenance Training Organisation. The Aviation Institutes schedule of approved CASA theory type courses now includes ATR42/72 (PW120) and Airbus 320 B1/B2 (V2500). Australian Licence holders completing these courses with the Aviation Institute in New Zealand are now able to have their results recognised under the CASA 147 approval and the Air New Zealand Aviation Institute is able to deliver both of these type rating courses on-site in Australia under the new approval. This latest addition to our growing portfolio of training products and approvals reinforces the Aviation Institute’s position as a leading provider of maintenance training in the Asia-Pacific region and provides an excellent opportunity for Australian-based A320/ATR Operators and LAME’s to access training directly from an operator and maintainer. The Air New Zealand Aviation Institute is the primary provider of flight and cabin crew, aircraft maintenance, frontline customer service and airline operations training for its parent company Air New Zealand. The Aviation Institute leverages this relationship to provide effective real-world training solutions, to the international and domestic aviation industry, school leavers and career changers.
