The Anchorage "Daily News" today (14 July 2013) has a nice story about The Chacón, the boat in my painting. I loved the way this 82-foot long boat is disappearing back into the forest. If you go by to see it in Chugiak you might get to talk with Thillman Wallace, whose dreams for his life with his boat were never realized. The original painting is at the blue.hollomon art gallery, but I gave Mr. Wallace a print. Everyone needs dreams. . . .
