The Botswana Congress Party says the North West region is inundated with natural resources yet its people remain the poorest. Delivering a #BCP message at a political rally, which is part of the Motsamai Mpho Tour in Maun yesterday, Kgatleng East Member of Parliament Isaac Mabiletsa said the BCP views the North West as having great untapped potential. The BCP says the tour is in remembrance of the late Motsamai Mpho who was regarded as a dedicated politician, committed activist and inspirational leader both in Botswana and in the region. Mabiletsa said if elected into power, the BCP government commits itself to equitable allocation of land, comprehensive audit of tourism and the involvement of citizens in the sector, and to link tourism product to local manufacturing.
