The C.M. Russell Museum opens a new exhibit Friday that will highlight the continuity between Russell and his contemporaries and the 22 artists inducted into the Russell Skull Society last year. The exhibit, “Continuing the Legacy: The Russell Skull Society of Artists,” will remain open through Jan. 19, 2015, and will include one piece of art from each of the Russell Skull Society artists as well as art by Russell and other pioneers of Western art including Thomas Moran, Joseph Sharp, Carl Rungius, Alexander Phimister Proctor and O.C. Seltzer.
