The City of Centerville is seeking volunteers for positions on the Planning Commission and Board of Architectural Review. The Planning Commission reviews applications for development and redevelopment, and enforces and interprets the City’s land use ordinances including zoning and subdivision regulations, among other duties. The Planning Commission meets at 7:30 p.m. on the last Tuesday of each month. Applicants should have an understanding of plan review and zoning laws. The Board of Architectural Review reviews applications in the same manner as the Planning Commission with an emphasis on historic preservation in the downtown Architectural Preservation District and for properties designated as landmarks. The Board of Architectural Review meets at 7:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month.
