The Dean was talking today. Quiet uselessly. Actually he was wrong in doing so. There are people with so important jobs which became further more important when they heard that the Dean wanted to tell something. He just wanted to make a few statements that were so useless to the highly qualified youth of our college. He is a Brigadier. He has served our nation at the borders. So what? At the end of the day, who cares. From the day he has arrived, the college is changing. Now a days AEC looks like a good institute. There is a decent canteen now. Decent basketball court. Hostel facilities are improving. And many more. But so what? Does that mean we have to lend some help to him? It is not for us to worry about what he does. Our job is to comment from the middle of a huge crowd. Blow a sharp whistle if he tries to make some point. Throw some stupid question and hide behind others. And thats it. Thats what we are worthy of. Who has the strength and courage of walking up to those steps and speak to such a crowd? Anyone? Thats the definition of cowardliness. I am pretty damn sure that Brigadier B. Singh took the stage to speak to us today with a good intension. He took the stage today because he wanted support for his good cause. And we denied him that small thing. I have never spoken to the Brigadier or have had any interactions. But one day I saw this man offering tea to an old labour who was shivering, drenched in rains. This old labour worked for rebuilding our college, cementing bricks in sun and rain, and when he was wet and shivering, nobody had the decency of offering him a cup of hot tea, except the Dean. This defines the man. This shows the person who he is from the inside. AND I RESPECT HIM. Many will laugh at this post. I know. But I have always stood strong with my beliefs irrespective of society and consequences. And I wont regret posting this even if you make a laughing stock out of me. If someone is doing whats right, I feel its my duty to take a stand for him. This is a small attempt to send a word. But if you feel that this is true and right and worthy to be uphold, please spread the word. Stand up for him. #SupportWhatsRight
