The Desert Raider has been directly inspired by a garment worn by a soldier serving in the L.R.D.G (Long Range Desert Group), a reconnaissance and raiding unit of the British Army during the Second World War. While in Egypt (c. 1940) this particular soldier acquired a civilian garment and went on to customize it to meet the demands on his role. This winter-ready garment features a myriad of pocket options, packable hood and a convertible collar. The later can be worn stood-up or laid down giving the wearer two distinct looks with varying levels of weather protection. Available now 52 Artillery Lane and due to launch midweek at mastrum
