The Difference Between Believing and Knowing First, lets read Daniel 12:4 passage: But you, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. The topic of this publication will underline the genuine interpretation about knowledge, being a spiritual knowledge of God given to the Holy People at the end of times, rather than an increasing belief. Knowing and believing are different words that are often used in religious teachings across the world. Believing is holding an opinion until you find a better one. Knowing is to have direct experience, to understand, and to have a practical understanding of some concept. In John 3:3, we can read that Jesus said: Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. This is so important. In other words, Jesus said : I came to restore what was lost (what Adam had lost) (Matthew 18:11 and Luke 19:10) Then, I just want to point that the real meaning of see the kingdom of God is understand, or knowing - This is the genuine faith of God. You understand God, you have the Mind of Christ and your knowledge grants you the privilege to teach your understanding to others. for, Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:16 To further delineate the two different terms, Believing and Knowing, it is important to realize that while one can make- believe, one cannot make-know. One can pretend to believe, because in order to believe, one does not need factual knowledge. You just make it up. Of course, I suppose it is true that you can pretend know - but we usually call this lying. When one maintains in an argument: I dont believe, I know, without actually possessing direct cognition of, or evidence for, their proposition, they are in fact using a persuasive defintion (i.e. one that is misleading, which we otherwise refer to as lying. (Literally, pretending to know) Through the sacrifice of Jesus, the Holy Spirit (Christ Anointing) brought to His Holy People, the Rest of God (in their mind and heart) , which is the Spiritual Freedom of God. Now, God promised to write Himself His Law in the hearts of His people, and we must understand that He doesnt need any intermediary to do that. Read again what God promised in the Covenant God made with Abraham and his seed. .This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time, declares the LORD. I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. Jeremiah 31:33 Now comes a New Message of Holiness and Righteousness, with a New Level, never preached before.... Question: Did Jesus and John the Baptist had the same anointing level from the Spirit of God? The answer is no. They didnt have the same Anointing. John the Baptist and Jesus were very different, and these differences may have begun to bother John the Baptist. John’s attire certainly set him apart from the crowd, but Jesus seems to have blended in so far as His clothing was concerned. John and his disciples fasted much (“neither eating nor drinking”), while Jesus and His disciples ate and drank, with sinners no less (Matthew 11:18-19). Jesus said of John the Baptist: Truly I tell you, among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet whoever is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. Matthew 11:1 In other words, the followers of John, as long they followed John s teachings, were lesser in the Kingdom of God, than those of Jesus. Now, let me pinpoint something. Johns morals were straight and narrow. He was quizzed by both tax-collectors and soldiers about what they needed to do to be right with God. Both of these positions required cooperation with the Roman Empire, and they were wondering if they had to quit their jobs. John tells them no, but to do their jobs in a righteous manner. This is important for us today as so many are required to cooperate with employers, states, and corporations that are—in part—engaged in immoral actions. I believe that John preached some kind of Conduct, Order and Doctrine sermon, and his followers were believing and practicing every word John preached: Here we read: Tax collectors also came to be baptized, and said to him, “Teacher, what shall we do?” And he said to them, “Collect no more than is appointed you.” Soldiers also asked him, “And we, what shall we do?” And he said to them, “Rob no one by violence or by false accusation, and be content with your wages” [Luke. 3:12-14]. The Gospels tell us that Herod Antipas, one of the sons of Herod the Great, who inherited the regions of Galilee and Perea as his territories had an unlawful marriage. At some point, he apparently stole Herodias, the wife of his brother Herod Philip. That put him in opposition to John the Baptist, who opposed the union (Mark 6:18), leading Herod to arrest John. (Matt. 14:3-4). 3 For when Herod had John arrested, he bound him and put him in prison because of Herodias, the wife of his brother Philip. 4 For John had been saying to him, “It is not lawful for you to have her.” John had been telling Herod, It is against Gods law for you to marry your brothers wife. (Mark 6:18) Herod Antipas’s wife, Herodias, hated John with a passion. (Presumably for publicly criticizing her betrayal of her former husband—Herod Philip—and her marrying his brother.) Eventually, after her daughter Salome delighted Antipas with a special dance at his birthday party, Herodias was able to manipulate him into giving the order for John’s death by beheading (Mark 6:21-28). Now, let me keep going with Johns high morality. John probably had preached something like a Marriage And Divorce sermon.... but, now understand: his sermons were to keep and set aside his disciples until the coming of Jesus. See? When John saw Jesus, he said Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! This is the one I meant when I said, A man who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me....And I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit and then, when the disciples heard him say this, they followed Jesus. Now, I want to get you to the point, that everything John had preached and taught to his disciples were fine and I would agree that his teachings match the kind of matter which falls under those said in Philippians 4:8 : Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. But as you understand, Jesus disciples had not received the same teachings. Jesus was not narrow minded neither legalistic. The gospels say that John and his disciples fasted much (“neither eating nor drinking”), while Jesus and His disciples ate and drank, with sinners no less (Matthew 11:18-19). Why? John the Baptist - knowledge or belief? We understand the message of John the Baptist could not restore what was lost, and even with the high narrow standards and morals, the full obedience to his teachings could not grant to his followers, the freedom and the rest of God. If you fully understand that, then you know a truth that will never be challenged in your heart. Now let me explain the New Level of Righteousness, which is imparted to the genuine people of God, called the Bride of Christ and why the the believers must become knowers. Faith should never be submitted to acquired knowledge of values. Both are ruled from different spiritual realms. I preached earlier about this feature in our human brain, called the knowledge of good and evil moral values. This human feature is imparted to all human beings, and this is where the beliefs are stored. The genuine faith belongs to another level, which has nothing in common with the tree of knowledge. The Bible calls it, the Tree of Life Here, Abraham is a good example that I can use as a reference to illustrate the conflict between his human knowledge and conscience and his genuine Faith. We are all aware that Abraham overcame his human conscience, when his Faith ruled over his learned moral values stored in his human knowledge. Lets take Hebrew 11: 17-19 By faith Abraham, when God tested him, offered Isaac as a sacrifice. He who had embraced the promises was about to sacrifice his one and only son, even though God had said to him, “It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.” Some argue that Abraham reasoned that God could even raise the dead, and so in a manner of speaking he did receive Isaac back from death. But Abrahams faith was much more than that. Abraham was an overcomer and this is because his faith was the awareness a superior knowledge. Using the branch of the knowledge of good in Abrahams conscience, (the extreme tip of the branch of the GOOD, Satan (his human mind) fought through Abrahams conscience, trying to convince Abraham that killing his son and offering his body in sacrifice was evil. Abraham was aware that human sacrifice was a pagan act of killing one or more human beings as part of a religious ritual (ritual killing). Abraham knew that human sacrifice had been practised in various cultures throughout history and probably even during his era from the nations dwelling around. But Abrahams faith excelled. Why ? Because Abraham received a revelation from God. And Abrahams seed will receive the same revelation, and they will overcome their human flesh and blood. You see? I have nothing against good moral values.... but they are not from the Tree of Life. They (the fruits of that tree) look good to eat... but it is from that tree that the devil accuses the brothers...day and night before God. You see? The brothers and sisters just dont take for the Word of God, that through the blood of Jesus (the Mind of the blood is the Spirit of God) they are made Holy and Perfect and Sinless in the sight of God. They believe but they do not know that by the blood of Jesus, they are equal to Jesus, in the Mind of our Heavenly Father. If they would know then, they would never leave the Mind of Christ, day and night.... Sometime, I am ashamed of all those so-called born again Christians, struggling to understand how they will overcome their weakness... They just forget that God dont care about their weakness, as long as they keep the Mind of the Covenant in their heart, being aware of Gods Commitment from morning to evening. And if they keep the Mind of Gods Covenant, God committed Himself to take over the responsibility of their behavior, writing His Laws into their hearts. Johns laws could not be written in their heart, so are those of the actual churches. Then I say to all believers and especially to the End Time followers, as John the Baptist had been beheaded, so you shall be beheaded in a spiritual figure of speech, or you will all be left beside. The New Level of faith required. By Jesus blood, we are made equal to him in the Mind of Christ. (Hebrews 10:10) We are made Holy, Sinless and Perfect, being restored to the same level of Righteousness, which was imparted to Jesus while he was living and walking on earth. Jesus said : I came to restore what was lost (what Adam had lost) (Matthew 18:11 and Luke 19:10) We understand that the teachings from the actual churches cannot restore what was lost, and even the very high narrow standards and morals preached by their pastors are of no use to reach the genuine Rapturing Faith, and the full obedience to these teachings cannot grant to his followers, the freedom and the rest of God. (the genuine New Birth) Should we rely on morals to behave before God? Question: Did Abraham, relied on his acquired moral values, when God asked him to kill (sacrifice) his son? No, fortunately, Abraham didnt listen to his morals.....he knew better. Morality and Ethics... the tools of the devil.....Morality and religion ... issued from the tree of knowledge of good and evil... If you make a search about morals, you will find by definition that they are standards of right and wrong that transcend the physical world and human reason. If something is immoral we say its wrong. In other words, it conflicts with a deep conviction. What do we base that on? Human reason? Some will say: I hope not, because human reason is fickle. Morals are unchanging, otherwise they arent morals. Human reason may lead us to correct judgments today, and something like utilitarianism tomorrow. Utilitarianism is reasonable, unfortunately its based on a twisted value system which devalues individual human life. It is said that morality and religion is the relationship between religious views and morals. Many religions have value frameworks regarding personal behavior meant to guide adherents in determining between right and wrong. These frameworks are outlined and interpreted by various sources such as holy books, oral and written traditions, and religious leaders. Until now, within the Protestant movements, most of the churches still teach what was written long time ago by the reformers and founders of Protestantism, such as John Nelson Darby, Martin Luther, John Wesley and many other theologians....and, this statement includes all the teachings and beliefs of all existing churches. All those so-called fathers of the Church or reformers (as taught from the dispensationalist beliefs) wrote books that were and still used as frameworks and pre-written moral code or compilation of rules relevant to their beliefs (religion & doctrine), describing those actions that are forbidden or those that are encouraged, by their religious group. But they all missed something important. They missed the genuine revelation and deep meaning of Jeremiah 31:33 or Hebrews 8:10 But this is the new covenant I will make with the people of Israel on that day, says the LORD. I will put my instructions deep within them, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. (Note: The King James version says in their hearts and not on their hearts) (my emphasis) I particularly like the New International version of Jeremiah 31:33 where it is written: This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time, declares the LORD. I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. because it is spoken of in their minds... (my emphasis) I want to emphasize here, that if God said His Law would be put in the mind of His people, that only means one thing: The people of God has the Mind of God. In other words, their own mind has merged completely with Gods own Mind. Now let me prove from several scriptures, that God has His own Mind, and that our salvation is a matter of MIND!
