The Dominican court ruling gives the electoral commission one year to produce a list of people to be excluded from citizenship. The decision applies to those born after 1929 – a category that overwhelmingly includes descendants of Haitians brought in to work on farms. This is so incredibly wrong in every way, the Dominican government needs to face sanctions for this. They need to be told to cease and desist or the US will stop all aide, tourist visas and travel between our nations.
