The Duval County Republican Chairman seeks to overturn the HRO (Human Rights Ordinance) protecting LGBT in Atlantic Beach. Anytime one places RIGHTS to a popular vote it simply is NOT the right thing to do. We are left wondering why the Duval Chair of the GOP would attempt such. If these are his personal opinions then we call for his resignation as Chair. He is NOT representing the majority of Duval Citizens. It makes the Duval GOP look bigoted and other GOP Candidates should call for his immediate resignation as chair of the party in Duval. Private citizen or not he is using his position to continue discrimination. We hope the remained of our supporting GOP Candidates in Duval do NOT agree with him and take a stand for EQUALITY in calling for his IMMEDIATE resignation. Rick Hartley should resign and give the Duval Republicans a more inclusive representation of our great and wonderful city. Furthermore, we as a media outlet will be reaching out to those magazines and other medias that use Hartley Press Inc. in Jacksonville for printing and advise them of Rick Hartleys stance on LGBT. We call for a boycott of Hartley Press Inc. in Jacksonville as we can NO longer allow discrimination and bigotry to continue in our great city. We we be coordinating a protest a Hartley Press Inc within the next week to express our disapproval of Rick Hartley an employee with Hartley Press Inc.
