All my Soy Candles & Melts are hand poured using 100% soy plant wax & blended with premium fragrances & or essential oils. Earth grown soy bean wax is pure, environmentally friendly & burns clean with a natural glow with 100% cotton wick. Essence of Jasmines Natural Soy Candles are made from soy wax, which is a hydrogenated form of soybean oil. It is softer than paraffin wax & has a lower melting temperature. Natural Soy wax has an off-white, opaque appearance & may frost in colder months. This does not affect the burn or aroma of our scented Soy Candles. Soy Wax when melted actually turns into vitamin E oil, & is great for moisturizing. When your candle is melted and has a wax pool it is safe enough to stick your finger inside without getting burnt. Most candles that are store bought are made from paraffin wax which is made from the left over sludge from the refining of petroleum. So apon having them alight & burning in your house they are also emitting toxins in the air.
