The Express tribune Education at stake: Over 100,000 Matric students yet to receive mark sheets By Noman Ahmed Published: August 24, 2013KARACHI: The Private Schools Management Association in Karachi have accused the Board of Secondary Education Karachi of “playing with the future of 130,000 students” by failing to issue marks certificates to around 60 per cent of the schools till Friday. The association’s chairperson, Sharfuz Zaman, during an emergency press conference on Friday, said that college admissions deadline was on August 26 and nearly half of the issued marks certificates contained errors. Zaman also accused a majority of journalists of maintaining “silence over this issue of vital importance for their personal benefits”.
