The Great Commission in 2015 Matthew 28:18-20 (18) And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. (19) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: (20) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Let us pray… The Great Commission in 2015 Matthew 28:18-20 As yesterday’s message indicated I have chosen to accept, by faith, the vision-burden of the LORD for 2015 being the year of divine doors of evangelism for the H.O.P.E. Ministry and me. Whereas, I will by the grace of God, by faith, seek to exhort other believers towards such and to personally engage in significant evangelism in seeking to effectively fulfill the Great Commission in 2015 towards sinners-unbelievers. The following passage is what is known as the Savior LORD Jesus Christ’s exhortation towards the Great Commission that states: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you.” First of all we see in the text… Empowerment or authority to fulfill the Great Commission is experienced by yielding, by faith, to the Savior LORD Jesus Christ: (18) And Jesus came and spake unto them (Contextually, this is the believers, who were present that day and by way of application, the believers throughout the ages.), saying, All power (spiritual, scriptural, and supernatural authority) is given unto me in heaven and in earth. We must realize that the Savior LORD Jesus Christ is the absolute supreme spiritual, scriptural, and supernatural authority over all in heaven and earth, which has been given Him, by sovereign God the Father, before the foundation of the world was laid... We by yielding, through faith, to the crucified and resurrected Savior LORD Jesus Christ can experienced the manifestation of His absolute supreme spiritual, scriptural, and supernatural authority over all in heaven and earth, according to the grace of sovereign God, according to the measure given each of us, who sincerely believe… With that said, let us receive by sovereign God’s grace, through faith, empowerment or supreme, spiritual, scriptural, and supernatural authority to fulfill the Great Commission experienced by yielding to the crucified and resurrected Savior LORD Jesus Christ, being manifested in and through us, who believe… Exhortation to GO is a command, not a request from the Savior LORD Jesus Christ: (19) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: (20) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: GO “and teach all nations.” We are to teach-evangelize all that the Savior LORD Jesus Christ, died on the cross, for their sins and self-righteousness and arose from the grave to give all that will receive Him into their life, through repentance towards God of anything that would hinder such towards faith in the crucified and resurrected Savior LORD Jesus Christ, as their Savior, God, and LORD, according to the absolute authority of the Scriptures. Where by, a repenting sinner is eternally saved by God’s grace, through faith, apart from good works of self-righteousness… GO “baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” We are to exhort all who will be evangelized-saved, by grace, through faith, in the crucified and resurrected Savior LORD Jesus Christ, as their Savior, God, and LORD, according to the absolute authority of the Scriptures, to testify of such by water baptism. Water baptism does not save. But it does surely testify publically one’s confession of the Savior LORD Jesus Christ, as it pictures the believer’s identification, by faith, with the death, burial, and resurrection of the crucified and resurrected Savior LORD Jesus Christ. As well as, it pictures the Trinity of God consisting of one God, revealed in three persons of Sovereign God the Father, the Savior LORD Jesus Christ, and the Spirit, the Holy Ghost. GO “teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you.” We are to educate through spiritual and scriptural discipleship those who have been evangelized-saved, by grace, through faith, in the crucified and resurrected Savior LORD Jesus Christ, as their Savior, God, and LORD, according to the absolute authority of the Scriptures to continue, by faith, in the absolute authority of the Word of God, the Scriptures and the God of the Word, the Savior LORD Jesus Christ, for salvation’s progression, sanctification, separation, service, and all other spiritual, scriptural, and supernatural realities of sovereign God… Engaging in the Great Commission is to experience, by faith, the person, presence, power, purpose, passion, provision, and perfect will of the Savior LORD Jesus Christ through the Holy Ghost: …and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Engaging in the Great Commission is to experience such, by faith, which ”is the substance (reality) of things hoped for (realization), the evidence (regarding) of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1 Every believer from the moment they are Saved are call and commanded by the crucified and resurrected Savior LORD Jesus Christ to GO in seeking to effectively fulfill the Great Commission. As they GO they will experience, by sovereign God’s grace, through faith, the Savior LORD Jesus Christ’s person, presence, power, purpose, passion, provision, and perfect will through the Spirit, the Holy Ghost, Who indwells every believer for empowerment and engaging effectively in the Great Commission, according to the absolute authority of the Scriptures… Every believer here should with the crucified and resurrected Savior LORD Jesus Christ regarding the Great Commission just given each of us, say “Amen” or I sincerely agree. Amen I will GO, by God’s grace, through faith, to effectively fulfill the Great Commission in 2015… Amen I will yield, by God’s grace, through faith, to the crucified and resurrected Savior LORD Jesus Christ regarding engagement in the Great Commission in 2015… Amen I will yield, by God’s grace, through faith, in the Spirit, the Holy Ghost, for enlightenment and empowerment through the resurrected Savior LORD Jesus Christ to effectively fulfill the Great Commission in 2015… Amen and Amen, by the grace of God, through faith… Let me ask you has there been a time in your life when you have by the grace of God started to repent towards sovereign God of anything, sin and self-righteousness, that would hinder you from sincere faith in the crucified and resurrected Savior LORD Jesus Christ, Who died on the cross for your sins and arose from the grave to give you eternal life, the forgiveness of sin and newness of life? If not, right now humble yourself before sovereign God realizing and repenting of the practice of sin and self-righteousness and by faith receive into your life, by asking the Savior LORD Jesus Christ to save you, to come into your life and do such, by faith in Him through the Scriptures for the Bible says… (30) And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? (31) And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved… Acts 16:30-31 (9) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved… (13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:9; 13 Therefore, we who are saved… Let us personally be committed by faith to GO: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you.” Let us personally be committed, by faith, to pray for divine doors of evangelism for one another: (18) Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; (19) And for me (US), that utterance may be given unto me (US), that I (WE) may open my (OUR) mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, (20) For which I am (WE ARE) an ambassador in bonds: that therein I (WE) may speak boldly, as I (WE) ought to speak.
