The Grummett Chambers: W.J. Grummett established the first law office in Ansonville (now Iroquois Falls), Ontario in 1921 . Marie (Gaouette) Grummett worked with her husband as his secretary from 1922 until his death in 1967 and continued to work at the office for other lawyers who took over W.J. Grummetts practice until she retired in 1986, a 64 year period. Jacqueline (Grummett) Seguin, started working at the law firm in 1949 after graduating from business school. She worked at the office until 2002 (for over 50 years), only taking two years off during that period of time to raise her children. The old office building on Main Street was raised and a new building was built in 1978-1979. In November 1979 the new office was dedicated to the memory of W.J. Grummett and formally named The Grummett Chambers. The office remains to this day, owned by J.K. Alexander.
