The Guns of Navarone have been dethroned by Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes, is now my new favorite movie. It is an amazing movie I got goosebumps the first time Caesar speaks and the music was really good and reminiscent of the originals. It was refreshing to see CGI used right you could tell the environment were real sets only reason you could they used CGI is because you know apes cant act that good. That may be one problem with the movie the actors behind the apes were SOOO good it kind of made the humans acting seem not quite up to par except Gary Oldman. I would recommend you watch the first one Dawns story stands well on its own but you may miss a few things if you dont watch the first one But I defiantly say go see it on the big screen.
