The Heartland Golden Gala Heartland Golden Retriever Rescue is presenting our Second Annual Golden Gala to help in the rescue and rehoming of needy Golden Retrievers in this area. The Gala is Saturday August 17 from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at Rothchild Catering and Conference Center, 8807 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN. The event will again be emceed by Bill Landry of the Heartland Series, who will be joined this year by Sam Venable, columnist for the Knoxville News Sentinel. The evening will include dinner as well as both a silent and live auction. Music will be provided by the Southern Star Band. It promises to be a fun evening for all, but most important, will benefit many needy Goldens.Heartland has been re-homing Goldens in our area for nearly 15 years, most of the time operating on a shoestring budget. We rely on fundraisers such as the Gala to continue helping the Goldens, as well as a group of volunteers throughout the nation. Tickets for the Gala are $50 per person. A portion of the ticket price is tax deductible. Dinner will include salad, vegetables and your choice of chicken breast with white wine tarragon sauce, prime rib or spinach and cheese manicotti with vegetarian red sauce and includes a dessert selection. The preferred dress is casual chic. There are several ways you can help Heartland in its mission to care for, and find permanent loving homes for abandoned and neglected Golden Retrievers. Sponsor a table for this event. Sponsorships include recognition on our website and your name or company logo prominently displayed at the Gala as well as on one of the dinner tables. A portion of the ticket price is tax deductible. There are three levels to choose from: Gold -- $1,000 receives 8 free tickets to the Gala – a full table Silver -- $750 receives 6 free tickets to the Gala Bronze -- $500 receives 4 free tickets to the Gala Make a monetary donation to help us purchase large items for the live auction.
