The House Republican bill to add more arms on the border instead of addressing our broken immigration system is a really bad bill that I strongly oppose. But it is not bad enough for our Senator Ted Cruz. He is urging opposition to the Republican bill because it fails to stop deferred action for our DREAMERS—children who came to America before 2007 and want to pursue their education. He says, “The only way to stop the border crisis is to stop Obama’s amnesty” or as I would describe it--opportunity for DREAMERS with whom I have personally visited at SAC, at ACC, UT, and elsewhere to contribute their all to America.
