The CSI will be organised in collaboration with Light House, an NGO working in the area of Drug Demand Reduction in Cape Town. Who is a Recovery Coach?? A Recovery coach (RC) is a person currently working as a peer to assist other individuals in recovery. He/She provides support to individuals with Substance Use Disorders (SUD) and helps them to achieve their personal recovery goals by promoting self-determination, personal responsibility, and empowerment inherent in self-directed recovery.
