The Indiana School for the Deaf is looking for a qualified candidate to fill our Food Service Worker 4 position. For anyone interested in this position, please see instructions below. If you know of someone who may be interested outside of ISD, you may forward them this information. ________________________________________ For External Applicants: The Indiana School for the Deaf uses an online system for applicants to search and apply for current job openings. Attached is an applicant guide to help you through the process. You will need to go on the State of Indiana website to create a profile, search, and apply for jobs. Here is the link to start your search: in.gov/spd/careers/. Then scroll down and click on sign up. You will be asked to give an e-mail address and to create a password. Please be sure that you have the information listed below read:. • Electronic copy of your resume. (i.e., Word doc. or text file) • Your employment history (position titles, dates, etc.) • Education history (dates, credits earned and GPA) • References with email addresses • National ID (ss#) or Alien Registration ID number. Applying for a Specific Job Posting: Once you have created a profile and are ready to search you will need to do an Advanced Search. To do this, locate the Search button on the page and click on Advanced Search located just to the right.. Scroll down to the area to enter the Job Posting ID#. Type in the job ID 592004. Then go to the selection “Find Jobs Posted Within” and select the drop down box to make that area blank. Then click Search. This will bring up the job opening.
