The Institute for Field Research is looking for a Marketing Manager to join our rapidly growing organization. Potential candidates should apply online at ifrglobal.org/home/employment. The Marketing Manager is responsible for the design, implementation and monitoring of our external marketing and outreach strategies. He/she is directly responsible for implementing various strategies, including recruiting at colleges and universities across the United States and Canada; interacting with administrators, faculty and students to discuss IFR field school opportunities; developing associated contacts; following up directly with student inquirers to maximize enrollments; preparing promotional materials and periodic reports, social and digital advertising, social networking and outreach. The position requires a creative, highly motivated, well-organized self-starter who enjoys working independently. Must be able to represent the IFR professionally, credibly and authoritatively to university-level faculty and administrators, students and their parents. Must be knowledgeable about and interested in education and the ‘learning through research’ paradigm, and have an understanding of field schools, their curricular issues and program models. Performs other duties as assigned.
