Required skills for Senior Floral Designer: Required experience, skills and qualifications: We are looking for a positive and proactive professional combined with a successful background in floristry, event and everyday floral design, sales skills and a commitment to a successful career that offers much potential for professional growth. The Senior Florist needs to be creative and artistic and will train to take responsibility for the day to day operations of the department to include all floral ordering, floral sales with commitment to the achievement of targets and business objectives, leading the floral team whilst identifying opportunities to exceed client expectations. It is essential that the Senior Florist possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships. The Senior Florist will be expected to participate in wedding and event consultations offering floral design concepts to the client and sales team. Growth of floral sales will be of paramount responsibility as well as maintaining current relationships of our corporate and personal clients and establishing new relationships with potential clients. Level 3 or higher in floristry with at least 5 years Supervisory experience. Full knowledge of Wedding and Special Events floral and decor design. Proficient excel skills are essential. The Floral Designers are responsible for the upkeep of the floral room, floral boutique, coolers and refrigerators to ensure product is kept to high quality at all times. The Floral Designers must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
