The Joshua Tree Clean Team litter pick-up on July 31 was awesome. Eleven volunteers gathered together to view a landscape with very little trash on it. A large thank you to Mark Barnes, John Stannard, John Stang, Chris Chaney, Den Winberry, Bruce Mauhar, Renee Riley, Cheryl Wolfe, DeWalt,Tammie Bucaro, and Adam Gilma. At the Park Rock Café, John Stang presented Adam his Clean Team shirt to thunderous applause. Rosie also got very enthusiastic applause for her rice dish prepared as a breakfast item. Eighty pounds were picked up. We know of a secret stash of two sofas and eight mattresses that can readily be implanted at Copper Mountain College, before its next clean up. All hope is not lost.
