The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has issued the following anticipated traffic impacts for Barren County for the coming week: I-65 · There will be rolling roadblocks from mile marker 52 (Cave City) to mile marker 58 (Horse Cave) Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Barren County · KY 70/KY 90- Trucks will be entering and exiting the roadway in Cave City because of earthwork between the CSX bridge and I-65. · KY 90- (Between Adam McCreary Rd and KY 839) – Clearing operations to continue. Expect an increase in construction traffic. · Outer Loop- Lane restrictions in east bound direction of the Louie B. Nunn Parkway. Lane restrictions in the west bound direction have been lifted, but the left lane remains closed. Contractors will still have construction traffic entering and leaving the parkway and KY 1297 throughout the week. This week crews plan on shifting east bound traffic to the right lane over the KY 1297 bridge to allow for construction of the second phase of this bridge.
