The Kindred Spirits Dog Training crew and our students are so awesome! We had another wonderful party to raise money for KSs nonprofit service dog training branch. We had a nice group of friendly gregarious people and well behaved dogs. I dont think I heard one growl or snark from a person or a dog! Lots of food, great donations for prizes, opportunity drawing, and silent auction. Thanks, Dawn McMahon for chairing the party. Thanks to her husband, Patrick, for serving as her right hand man and jack of all trades. Sue Abernathys husband, Scott, also offered his help and it was appreciated. Rich Schickel used his ***cough cough*** distinctive voice to call out notices over the noise of the crowd. Thanks, Ali, for garnering so many donations - that was wonderful. Thanks to Lucy Postins of the Honest Kitchen for donations. Everyone who got a prize from the Honest Kitchen was thrilled! And a Good dog for the trainers dogs. We all got to the training yard about 730am today, with our dogs, an I didnt get home until 8pm tonight. My dogs were with me, on the go, for 13 hours. The other trainers dogs were the same way. They were tired and hungry but stayed the course, in good humor, all day and evening.
